This traditional Bakewell Tart is a buttery Almond sponge piped over raspberry jam in an all butter sweet pastry case. coated in a lemony icing , finished off with toasted Almond slices.
Ingredients :Butter (MILK), sugar, polenta flour, potato flour, rice flour, free range EGGS, Almonds ( NUTS), Raspberry Jam (sugar, raspberry puree, raspberries, lemon juice, pectins, sodium citrates, citric acid), icing sugar, lemon juice, xanthan.
Storage & Shelflife: keep sealed until eaten, once opened eat within 2 days. Bb 2 weeks from despatch. May be frozen on receipt for up to 2 months.
Serving suggestion: May be eaten hot or cold. Best served at room temperature or warmed through (in oven rather than microwave), with a dollop of ice cream!
